The Ace/Jacks are my first set of chips, and I couldn't be happier with them for the price. I started out with a 500 chip set from Spinetti's on Ebay, and liked the fact that I could specify colors and amounts and didn't get a set of five dice that I wouldn't use. I have since added to the set, and it's always a pleasure to deal with these people. I definitely prefer these "non-denominational" chips to the alternative as it gives me flexibility in assigning chip values. WARNING: I ordered a set of custom labels from SlamDunkImports, and while their product is excellent, these chips do NOT lend themselves to stick-on labels, as the center area is not recessed as are, for example, the NexGen chips.

This was also my first set which I purchased at Spinetti's. I liked them so I bought another set from another supplier The second set looked the same but were very slick and did not stack very well. If you purchase these chips, I would recommend purchasing them through Spinetti's. My rankings are based on the first set purchased from Spinetti's. I don't think you can beat them for the price.

This was the 1st chipset that I owned. I like the fact that it has a unique appearance with respect to most other 11.5 gram sets. These chips are pretty slick though and do not stack very well. Although the offset edgespots are unique, in practice they are a pain as it makes it a bit difficult to count the number of chips that are in your stacks. Overall, a very decent starter set. A step above the ubiquitous dice chip.

The Ace Jack Suited Chips were about 10 cents each the last time I checked. This is a good price considering the amount of detail that goes into these chips. The design is clever, the Ace of each suit is shown with each Jack somewhat hidden behind each Ace. The staggered stripes on the side are cool. The quality of these is comparable to other 11.5g composites.
