    Awesome Chips
    by Maxwell Murphy @ 10, Nov 2006

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality:N/A

After recently purchasing the 13.5g Double Suited Chips I found our gaming nights were growing to the point that my 600 piece set wasn't going to cut it. Since I was back in the market for more chips I decided to explore additional chip choices at the same time. I ended up finalizing on these chips and am very happy I did. The multi-coloring is a nice effect and the feel of the chips is great. They are just slightly thinner than the 13.5g but have pretty much the same touch feel to them combined with being just slightly heavier. Everyone that has seen them has been impressed and really likes them as well. I added one of the Mahogany Wood Cases and now am doubling up on this set. The dark Mahogany 500 chip case that so many places sell can easily accomodate 600 of these chips combined with two Copag card holders (4 decks total). Would definitely buy again (went up to 1,200 of these chips now so I'm good and set). One side note...as with any sort of item with printing I have found a very few chips with blemishes of one form or another...mostly just the intricate printing not being quite as crisp looking.

    A Masterpiece
    by Nate @ 06, Apr 2006

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

I've been wanting these chips for the longest. During christmas time i was set to order a 300 piece collection but the chip colors that i desired were sold out. Now with the reduced price at Vegas Supplies and every color in stock, it was time to place my order. I instantly fell in love. I always charished the design of these chips so i wasn't really worried about the feel or anything, i just desperately wanted them. The feel is great for my taste, and i really love the colors. They're an awesome add to my collection and i can't wait to have them in play. And for a limited time offer, they are giving away 35.00 bucks in store credit when you sign up for a real money account at pacific poker.

    14 g. Ace/King Suited
    by John @ 01, Feb 2006

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

I ordered these 14g Ace/King Suited chips solely because of the reviews I found on this website and hoped for the best. I was certainly not let down. These chips trully are a bargain; they look, sound, and feel like a poker chip should. One of my friends played with "super-expensive real clay chips" and said that these felt just the same. All of your friends will be wowwed by these things, especially if you're used to playing with those crappy Walmart brand composite chips. The only other chips in this price range that I considered were Nexgens, but I really disliked how plain they looked and didn't want to spend the time and money to have them customized. The Ace/Kings are the best overall chip for home game play.

    Ace/King Chips
    by Kev @ 16, Nov 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

I just bought 4 sets (500 chips each, buttons, clear top case with 5 clear acrylic chip trays included - what a deal!) of these from Costco for 48.99 plus tax Canadian each. For this price their quality is unbeatable. Would like to get Chipco chips in the future, but these ones will do great for the home tournies for now. Liked the different colors they came in. Had to get 4 sets to make sure enough of each color for proper amounts, couldn't pick the number of each unfortunately. Love the feel, weight and sound. I'm going to try a few with custom stickers and see how they look and react to shuffling, tricks, etc. Very happy I found them. Should be easy to sell later when I'm ready to upgrade.

14g Tri Color Ace King Poker Chips
    by Sreename @ 06, Nov 2005

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 3/5 Quality: 4/5

Look: This chip has got an ordinary look to it. It does have nice edge spots on it. But that’s about it. Although they tried to give it a better look with the Aces and Kings engraved to it. But it doesn’t do much for the chip. It doesn’t have a value on it, but it has a centre that allows labels to be put on it. So a practical chip for tournament and home game poker. Feel: The chip has got a plastic feel to it. It is a smooth surface which makes it a bit difficult to do chip tricks with. But it is ok. Weight: The chip has a reasonable weight which is one of the good points of the chip. Sound: The chip has, unlike to what you would expect, a light tone ‘clink’ to it. I dislike this very much in this chip because the sound doesn’t match the chip. A chip like this should have a medium tone ‘clink’ at least in my opinion. Price: It is one of the cheaper chips but it show too. You get a chip that is durable but I don’t think it got that much quality. However if you want a poker set just for fun games once in a while you’d have enough with this chip. Total: A fairly standard chip with nothing special to it. Nice if you want a beginner chip but if you play regularly I would recommend a other chip. Because this just wont do it.

    Best Price on Ebay
    by Rashman @ 06, Oct 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

I just purchased 1000 of these chips at around 16 cents a chip after shipping on Ebay. They come in bulk with no case but the seller will throw in an aluminum case for 30 bucks and that includes shipping. Excellent chip, great feel and sound. Here is the link to the sellers store on Ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/Presto-Poker_W0QQ ssPageNameZviQ3asibQ3astoreviewQQtZkm. Seller is great and have not had a single problem. He ships fast and his communication is great, gave me both his email and phone numbers, including cell.

    Not bad
    by AdamStone @ 19, Sep 2005

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 3/5

I bought 500 of these at VegasSupplies and I'm completely satisfied. In terms of production quality they're about on par with the average 11.5 gram chip, but they LOOK a whole lot nicer. Expect some minor flaws (specs of color where they shouldn't be -- nothing terrible).

    Friggin' Aresome Chips
    by BigRonnieP @ 12, Sep 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

Every person that has played with these chips at my home game has commented on how much they liked these chips. The weight, feel and sound are great. My only regret was my color selection, and purchasing from a site that didn't offer the pink and purple colors. Highly recommended.

    14g Tri Color WOW
    by conch6thuf @ 09, Aug 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

VERY VERY nice chips...I am very pleased with my purchase of these chips. I am glad I spent the money I did and not try to go cheap and get those frail 11.5 dice chips...Something about dice and poker just doesn't go together, however nothing says poker like the BIG STICK, A/K. I accidently dropped one from about 5 ft and not a chip or scratch. They are much heavier than normal chips and takes some getting use to but are really great chips. The sound is nice too, clanky but has a good sound when on a padded card table. In all a great buy, If you are considering getting cheaper for more chips but I wouldn't

14g Tri Colors are quite nice
    by Acrimone @ 08, Aug 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 5/5

These are even better than I thought they would be. They move really nicely in the hand, and are quite durable. I tore one apart to verify that the colors went all the way down. The color layer is solid down to a black core. The metal insert is much smaller than I would have guessed, which accounts for the nice sound. They don't "clink" in the ceramic-y way that chips on TV do, but they have a nice "clack" to them. They stack without rulers up to 140 or so before becoming unstable. I'm going to go ahead and put some labels on these, even though they aren't recessed.

    Great injection molded chips!
    by Lucky Luciano @ 03, Aug 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

A better chip than standard 11.5 gram "Dice, Suit..." and even the 13 gram "CASINO" chips. These chips look GREAT, feel nice but a little slippery and clanky, very resistant material but a little over weighted...Still in my experience these are the second best infection molded chips after NEXGENS!

Better price available! [Editor's Note: But you get what you pay for, watch out for immitations and seconds]
    by Tuna Chip @ 29, Jul 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

[Editor's Note: (The http://www.21ace.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3042 page has more comments from Tuna Chip). Be careful on ebay. There are good deals but there are rip offs too. Make sure you deal with a reliable seller with reliable plastics. These chips also come in the 11.5g weight with seconds used as plastic so buyer beware on ebay.]
24 cents per chip? 26 cents? A good price, but I'm telling you that YOU CAN DO MUCH BETTER! Go to ebay and plug "500 tri color poker chips" into the search and you will get 5stardeal.com's listing for a 500 chip set for $69.99 plus $20 shipping. That equates to approximately 18 cents per chip - an outstanding price for a great chip!!! I bought 2 separate sets from these guys and the service was great both times. I don't have anything to do with the company - I just hate to see fellow poker fans pay more than they need to. Your money and your choice.

    Good chips
    by Schro @ 26, Jul 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

After doing a couple week's research looking for a 500 piece chip set for about $100, I finally decided on the Tri-color 14g's. They arrived last week and I was duly impressed. I'll say from the outset that this is my first real chipset, but I love these chips. They have a great feel to them, and they look great! I was a bit hesitant to go for a slightly heavier chip, but after having played with them for a week the extra gram or two doesn't bother me. I ordered from VegasSupplies, using this site's link. I was lucky enough to find a discount code, and landed my 500 piece set plus case for a total of $121.93 or about $0.24 a chip. Earlier comments referenced cheaper deals on Ebay, but I couldn't find any and was happy with VegasSupplies' service. I would recommend these for an entry level set for someone not looking to break the bank. You can always do that later .

    eBay Source
    by Tuna Chips @ 05, Jun 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

Check out 5stardeal.com's listings on eBay. They have a running offer of $69.99 for a 500 set including case, cards, & dice. Example listing - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie wItem&category=63759&item=6183915371&rd= 1 I bought 2 sets from them and was very pleased with service and quality of chips.

    Great Chips
    by William @ 01, Jun 2005

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

Looked on ebay for them, couldn't find them for cheaper than $140 shipped for a set of 500. Don't trust ebay iether, bought from Vegas Supplies, choice of color and quantities, extremely happy.

    Excellent Value!
    by Tuna Chips @ 15, May 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

These 14g Tri Color chips are a great looking chip (the white, red, green and black ones - NOT the pink shown) and at only 18 cents per chip (including shipping) in a set of 500 on eBay they are a fantastic buy as well! Their feel and stacking ability is very nice for a composite chip too.

    14g Tri Color Ace King

Excellent sound, weight and feel for the money. Good looking too.

14g Tri Color Ace King Poker Chips
    by Eric @ 04, Apr 2005

    Price: 3/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

These chips are about 31 cents each. There are cheaper metallic chips out there but those are only 11.5 grams in weight and most of them don't look as good as these tri colored chips. The appearance on these is excellent. All 4 suits are shown both on the edge and in the ace and king cards. The quality on these is comparable to the 11.5g composite chips. However, these are a little bit heavier which is a nice bonus in my opinion.

Our thoughts on the Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips

The 14g Ace King Tri Color poker chips are nice and heavy. They are similar to the 11.5g Ace King chips that we reviewed on the Ace King Suited page but there are some differences as follows:
  • These 14g Ace King chips have all 4 suits, the 11.5g Ace King chips in our review are spades only.
  • These 14g Ace King chips are noticably heavier than the 11.5g Ace King chips.
  • These 14g Ace King chips are tri colored and the 11.5g Ace King chips in our review are not.
  • Like the 11.5g Ace King chips, these Tri Colored 14g Ace King chips are a nice choice.y has one different color on the edges of the chip. Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips

Price Comparisons for Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips

Last time I checked, these Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips were available for about 31 cents per chips.

Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips Appearance

The appearance of the Ace King Tri Color 14g chips is interesting. Being tri colored, they have a lot going on. Unlike some Ace King chips which just show spades, these Ace King chips show all 4 card suits on each chip.

Ace King Tri Color 14g Poker Chips Quality

These 14g chips feel nice and solid. Although they have a metal insert, they are heavier than the typical 11.5g metal insert chips. I recommend learning poker chip tricks with heavy chips like these. Once the muscle memory gets going on heavy chips like these it is easy to transition to some of the lighter chips out there.
