    They Are Nice
    by King Jpe @ 06, Dec 2006

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 5/5

I bought a set of 500 of these chips about a year and a half ago. The whole set (case, 2 decks, 5 dice, all the buttons and the dealer chip) cost just under $200 with shipping. They appear to be cheaper now. I use them a lot, and they are dropped often. The entire set is still in nearly complete mint condition. They are great for home games, chip tricks, and they look and feel very nicely. The only problems I have are with the chip case. One of the latches broke just a week or so after I bought the set. All in all certainly worth the price in my opinion.

    Nice " Hot Stamped"
    by RussB42 @ 04, Feb 2006

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

I bought a set of 500,Hot Stamped in Gold and they were really very attractive,so much so that my Nephew talked me out of them. The Gold Hot Stamp really set these chips off in appearance "Great Looking". They were a little slippery thought, didn't really stack well(abt 10 high),cost twice as much as plain chips. I know they will be,well received in my Nephew's home game as they are far better in "looks" than the dice chips he has. I would recommend these "Hot Stamped" as they really look nothing like the plain suited chips.Buy them from a reputable dealer, selling chips with well definded "clubs" and you will have a good set(Thats just my opinion). There is a significant difference in the Quality in the suited chips, depending on where you buy them.

    Not Really Into Poker.
    by WATERWINGS @ 10, Jan 2006

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

I'm not really into playing poker that much, but if there's nothing else to do, and someone suggests it, I might get in a game or two. I'm definitly not a hardcore poker fan or player like other people that I know, and for whatever reason, I don't practice chip tricks at all. I received these chips two years ago for Christmas, along with a poker table. The table was pretty nice, it's a circular table with the center emblem being the World Poker Tour (WPT) logo. It came with a deck of cards and the chips that I am writing about now. From someone who isn't really into poker or chip tricks, I found these chips to be really nice. I like the simplistic appearance of them, and the material (I guess it's clay? or partially clay? I don't really know). I've found that you can buy a box of about 60 or so of them at Barnes & Nobles for about 10 to 15 dollars, so I guess they're not that expensive. I think that their quality is good, but then again, I haven't compared them to any other chips. Well I hope this review helped whoever is interested in buying these chips. -WATERWINGS

Depends on where you get them
    by Flacks @ 26, Sep 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

I have been using a good version of this chip at my regular weekly poker game for about 4 years now and they don't show much wear at all. Even though they are composite (ABS plastic with a metal insert) they have a nice texture, stack well, and sound great when they hit the pot. The problem now is we need more chips. I have ordered some samples but have not found the quality I am looking for. Does anyone know who has the best quality chip of the best price for these suited chips. Thanks

    Pretty Good Chips
    by TheEMan @ 28, Aug 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

These chip suprised me, they are actually pretty good budget chips, with out a doubt the best budget ivè seen so far. They feel really good in your hand and the stack good too. No rough edges and stuff like the Dice set i have =(. Pretty good price to here in sweden 399s/kr 51.65/usd i think thats pretty affordable for a 500 piece set with 2 decks, small & big blind + Dealer button (all metal) and 5 dices =) im pretty happy with it

    Depends on you!
    by Lucky Luciano @ 03, Aug 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 3/5 Quality: 3/5

There are many different "versions" of these chips so quality may vary from one set to another. Still, IMO these chips are perfect for casual/occasional home players. Certainly most "versions" are slippery (won't stack well)and clanky (metal insert). Certainly there are better looking chips (still appearance depends on the personal taste). But these are durable low priced chips that should work fine for the biggener or occasional home player. There are better chips out there but "Dice, Suited..." chips are OK considering their low price!

    Minor differences
    by Mr. Blank @ 19, Jun 2005

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

I recently got a full set (case, cards, dice, chips) from a local dealer not long ago, very good for the price. Don't be fooled by the similar-looking Wal-Mart sets. They're much cheaper and there's reasons for that. The Wal-Mart chips aren't "pressed", or made out of very good material. The suit designs are almost transparent on some. Buy this set from a reputable dealer, you'll spend more but the quality makes it worth it. Know the poor Wal-Mart set by their "grayish" (and cheaply) stamped-on suits and absence of dash lines around the center ring. Save that thirty bucks and put it towards a real set of these, you'll be satisfied.

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

these are quite good for begginers (first time buys, which i am/was) just bought another 200 of these with cards and clothe for £16 (pretty good, considering my first buy were 100 for £10)cant wait for them to arrive, have to wait over a bank holiday weekend,:(

    awesome
    by Derman2k @ 25, Mar 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 4/5

Just got 650 chips, 2 decks of cards, dealer button, dice and case for $42 including shipping. Good deal if you ask me. My chips do have some slight mess ups though. Only around 10 out of the 650 though so not bad.

    Not Bad
    by Jesus Rules @ 16, Mar 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

My mom just bought me these chips, 50 for 20 bucks, thats right, 20! She bough 2 more sets, one for her fiance, and one for my sis' b/f. They are not that bad for the price. I've never played with full clay chips, and I still have a set of 500 dice chips at home, and I have to decide which ones I want. These are good chips for the price, the case is good-high quality, solid. The cards it comes with aren't that good, but thats not what I bought it for.

    plastic!!!!!!
    by bla bla @ 04, Mar 2005

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

If you people bought the chips you would think that they are clay but you've been fooled. try cutting them in half, straight up plastic. the outer layer is plasic and the core is more plastic. but I like the design and the sound of the chips.

    Great
    by Jake @ 21, Jan 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

These chips are awesome. I got a set of 500 for Christmas and I couldn.t be happier. They have a nice look and they're perfectly heavy. They are the first set of real chips that I've had and they work great.

    SUITED POKER CHIPS
    by R MORIALLI @ 16, Jan 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

ihave read several posts that say their chips had small imperfections on them. I have 2,000 of these chips I got on Ebay form a reputable dealer, and mine have no such flaws. As a matter of fact i have now looked at every single chip after reading these comments and all of mine are absolutely perfect. I paid a little more for mine than you guys did. I am wondering if that golfshop place is selling factory defects? I think maybe so. I have dropped mine on the floor I don't know how many times...still perfect.

    Great for the Price
    by Taiguy @ 05, Jan 2005

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality:N/A

Friend received a set of 300 for christmas and they work beautifully for what they are. I decided to invest in a set myself, as poker is quite popular late night at college. I ended up paying $45 + $30 s/h off of ebay for a case of 750. That's $.10 a chip, doesn't get much cheaper than that! :) Great for the price, time to make it back in winnings ;)

    by The5thAce @ 04, Dec 2004

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Quality: 5/5

I actually have the 2 stripe suited chip set. Looks exactly like the one on that picture except their are 2 white stripes going all around the chip. I see how much everyone is paying for their chips and I was wondering if any of you have a Costco where you live? Cost me $60 for a set of 500.

Poker chips for a UK poker lover
    by asif @ 22, Nov 2004

    Price: 5/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

Like Ricky I also bought my 300 piece 11.5g suited chipset from TheGolfHQ via eBay for £40 with free postage. The chips have a good weight to them both for tricks and the proper casino feel at home and the designs and colours are well presented. There is the occasional minor defect of chips (surplus knobs of plastic, etc.) but that is easily overlooked. A great chipset.

    Poker in UK
    by Ricky @ 04, Nov 2004

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 3/5 Quality: 3/5

Just purchase my chip from this store in the UK: http://www.thegolfhq.com/ProductDetails. asp?PCLinkID=322 500 chips for £50 and FREE delivery. Some appear to have little defects on them. But all in all, great value for money and will definitely enhance our poker games at home. Overall 4 out of 5.

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 4/5 Quality: 4/5

These chips are a great deal if you shop around. They're available in a heavier and a lighter form. I prefer the heavier as it's easier to do tricks with.

    Suited 11.5g
    by CLM @ 21, Sep 2004

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 3/5 Quality: 3/5

These are very similar to the Dice 11.5 gram chips. The actual quality of the chip is the same. The price is great, and I like the simple suited design.

    11.5 Gram Composite Suited
    by Eric @ 21, Sep 2004

    Price: 4/5 Appearance: 3/5 Quality: 3/5

These budget suited chips are nice and simple. They have each suit near the border and they don't get too crazy with the design. If you're looking for affordable 11.5 gram composite chips with a straightforward design then these are for you.

Our thoughts on the 11.5 Gram Suited Poker Chips

These suited 11.5 composites are the only budget composite chips that I've seen with all 4 suits on each chip. They look and feel good and the 11.5 gram weight is fairly standard.

Price Comparisons for 11.5 Gram Suited Poker Chips

These 11.5 Gram Suited Poker Chips can be purchased in sleeves of 50 for under $10. This comes to less than 20 cents per chip. The last time I checked WeDoItAllVegas for these chips they where set at $7.99 for sleeves of 50.

11.5 Gram Suited Poker Chips Appearance

These Suited chips are somewhat simple. They are good because they show all 4 suits on each chip without having a desing that is too "busy".

11.5 Gram Suited Poker Chips Quality

11.5 grams is a good weight for poker chips. These Suited chips are good quality for home poker games.
